Techniques and Technologies for Integration of Authentication into Your Anti-Counterfeiting Strategy

An effective anti-counterfeiting strategy depends on the successful integration of a brand-owner’s in-house teams and the interface with public sector agencies. This Workshop will guide you through the selection and implementation of authentication technologies to facilitate effective integration, with reference to examination procedures, tools and training. Sessions will include case-study exercises and collaborative working to maximise the shared experience and learning opportunity.

| About your Workshop Leaders |
Mr Ian Lancaster is a founding director of Reconnaissance and the project manager on a number of major projects, including multi-client industry surveys, due diligence reports and business strategy development projects. He is Executive Editor of the company’s newsletters and market research reports, and has worked with government agencies, industry associations and companies on development of their anti-counterfeiting strategies.
Mr Ed Dietrich is Director, Americas, at Reconnaissance. He has held senior management positions with leading authentication companies including Flex Products division of JDS Uniphase Corporation; Optical Security Industries, Inc. (OpSec), and American Bank Note Holographics. He has developed authentication solutions for leading global customers in areas including currency and travellers cheques, identification documents, licensed products & pharmaceuticals.
